First announced atthe March 27 Nintendo Direct,RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Armyis set for release on June 19 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The remaster includes an improved battle system based on the mechanics of the original game’s sequel, 2008’sShin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha Vs. King Abaddon. Moreover, the remaster features enhanced graphics, full English voice-overs for the main story, and additional quality-of-life enhancements, including quick saves, auto-saves, new difficulty options, and much more, according to the game’sofficial website.
Atlus Announces Devil Summoner Remaster RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army
Like previous mainline entries in the series, development ofRAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Armyis led by Kazuyuki Yamai, the game director of2024’s well-received turn-based RPGShin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The development team confirmed that 50 new demons will be in the game for a total of more than 120 demons. Some of the demons are returning names fromShin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, such as Hayataro and Tsuchigumo.
RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Armywill be available digitally and physically, with the physical editions being confirmed for the Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game. The standard edition will cost $49.99, and those wanting the most of theirRAIDOU Remasteredexperience may purchase the digital deluxe edition for $64.99, featuring “Guest Demons Pack,” “Demons of the Aril Rift,” “Kuzunoha Village Trainings,” “Skill Book Pack,” and “Survival Pack” DLCs. What’s more, pre-orders are now live with the “Raidou’s Glasses” cosmetic item as an added bonus.
