Players who find all the cats can turn them in for rewards, including consumables, gear, and more. Cats are crafty and can remain hidden, so here’s a guide to showing where to find all the cats inRise of the Ronin.

All Cat Locations in Rise of the Ronin

There are 100 cats in total inRise of the Ronin. There are three major regions in which players will travel:

Each region is unlocked at a certain point in the main story, and players can travel between areas andreplay any missionsthey want to. So, they can return and look again if they leave an area before finding all the cats.

Rise of the Ronin Yokohama All Cat Locations

Players will know they are near a cat when they hear meowing. It will also appear as an icon on their map when they enter the general vicinity. See below forall cat locations by region:

Yokohama

Yokohama isthe first region available; players will find 40 cats there.

Tobe: On the wooden platform.

Calico Cat 33

Yoshida-Shinden: Sitting on the wooden platform in front of the house.

Tobe: On the roof of a building.

Edo

Edo is the second region players will unlock; there are 36 Cats in Edo.

Kanda: Sitting on the rock ledge.

Cat 15

Asakusa: Sitting near the bottom of the stairs to the house.

Honjo: Sitting on the watchtower

Shiba: On the rock overlooking the sea.

Kyoto

Kyoto is the final and smallest region that players will get access to; there are 24 cats in Kyoto.

Higashiyama: Sitting on the roof.

Higashiyama: Sitting in front of the stone wall behind the house.

Shirakawa: Sitting on the roof.

Cat 10

Sanjo: Sitting behind the house on a platform near the crates.

Horikawa: Sitting on the house porch.

How to Collect Calico Cats

Calico Cats are rarer than others and not as easily collected. Calico Cats will be asleep whenever found, and players must grab them without waking them up. The best way to do it is tocrouch and sneak up on them.

Calico Cats will run away if they wake up, but players can try again at a different time.

Cat Collection Rewards

Players can use the cats they find to earn rewards by talking to a specific NPC. Usugumo Dayu works in the Pleasure Districts in Yokohama, Edo, and Kyoto. A cat symbol over her head will mark her, and payers can speak with her to see her wares. She sells elixirs, gear, andmore for Silver Coins.

The more cats they find, the more items she will have available. Players will alsoincrease their bond with Usugumoas they collect her cats.
