The little Saurian companion that Travelers obtained at the beginning of Natlan finally reached its last chapter in the Ancient Sacred Mountain ofGenshin Impact. By completing theFrozen, Rekindling Land Questand the follow-up quests, players will unlock the new map underneath the volcano in Atocpan, revealing an ancient civilization of dragons.
The map is colossal with multiple elevations, and aside from the usual treasure chests, Travelers can also collect Pyroculus in this area. Follow this guide to collect all 22 Pyroculus in Ancient Sacred Mountain before offering them to the Statue of the Seven in Natlan to get abundant of rewards inGenshin Impact.

Start the exploration by teleporting to theSea of Shifting Sentience northeast waypointand walk forward to the Qucusaur. Indwell the Saurian and use the Gaseous Phlogiston to fly to the northeast and get the Pyroculusin the middle of the circular rocks.

Next, go to thewaypoint south of Sea of Shifting Sentienceand jump down to the northwest to see a Pyroculuson top of the hot springs.

Return to the previous waypoint andglide to the eastslowly to reach the Pyroculus floating on top of the Phlogiston pool.

Now, go toFlame-Melding Ritual Grounds far south waypointand indwell a Tatankasaurus (or use Iansan andVaresa’s Skill) tocharge against the Pulverite. The Pyroculus is inside the rock.

Then, use the waypoint in themiddle of the Flame-Melding Ritual Groundsand jump down off the island to the north.Glide back to the southto get the Pyroculus on top of the hill.

Return to the previous waypoint andhead to the east to find a glowing blockon the floor. Use a basic attack to break it and enter the area underneath to discover tons of Pulverite. Indwell a Tatankasaurus to break them all and discover another path to the bottom level. Get the treasure chest on top of the dragon, stay on top of it, and it will bring you to thetop of the mountain,where you may get the next Pyroculus. Of course, climbing the mountain is also possible, but it will take a long time before you can reach the top.

Teleport to the waypoint in themiddle of the Flame-Melding Ritual Groundsandhead northeastto get the Pyroculus on top of a plant.

Now, go toFlame-Melding Ritual Grounds north waypointand turn around to the northeast before climbing the mountain. Indwell a Tatankasaurus,break the Pulverite, and smash the cracked rockson the edge to complete the puzzle and spawn a chest. Afterclaiming the treasure chest, the platform you’re currently on will rise and bring you to the higher level of this area. Up there, break another Pulverite rock with a Tatankasaurus to get the Pyroculus inside it.

Teleport toHeart of Force Inversion teleport waypointandglide to the southeasttowards the waterfall Phlogiston. There is a Pyroculus in the middle of the waterfall, but some players may already have obtained it, as you will run into it during the In Search of a Hidden Heart Quest.
Make sure to complete theIn Search of a Hidden Heart Questto unlock the Dragons' Residence in the Ancient Sacred Mountain.

Return to the previous waypoint andclimb the harden Phlogistonto the southwest for another Pyroculus in the middle.
