The Performance Mode ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows on the PS5 Pro (which emphasizes smoother framerates over sharper graphics) uses Standard Ray Tracing and runs at 60 FPS with 2160p upscaled resolution. The PS5 Pro Fidelity Mode shifts the focus toward graphical horsepower with a 2160p upscaled resolution, 30 FPS,and Extended Ray Tracingthat is used to compute global illumination for diffuse lighting and reflective surfaces throughout the game world. Finally, players with a 120/240hz display and HDMI 2.1 cord can setAssassin’s Creed Shadowsto Balanced Mode for 2160p upscaled resolution, 40 FPS, and Extended Ray Tracing.
