The first of these hotfixes was just released earlier today, though there isn’t much in the way of new changes. This patch is only 8.88GB, and the patch notes only list three major bullet points.

In addition to stabilizing some global issues, this Assassin’s Creed updatefixes a glitch in the Photo modeon PlayStation 5, where the game could crash while the player fetches photos to display on the world map. Another Photo mode issue is addressed on the PC version of the game, though this one caused crashes while simply trying to take a photo.

While this is the first post-launchAssassin’s Creed Shadowshotfix update patch, it isn’t the first update overall. Shortly before the game went live on March 20, Ubisoft quietly released an update thatremoved the player’s ability to damage shrines and templesin the game world after controversy over these acts reached all the way up to the Prime Minister of Japan.
