Throughout the surprisingly sunny Northern English countryside ofAtomfall, Radio Towers loom over every region except Wyndham Village. You may have tried to access these, but it isn’t until you progress the Joyce Tanner Lead inAtomfallthat you will be able to re-activate Radio Towers.
Once you have gained Joyce Tanner’s trust, and are given the mission to re-activate every Radio Tower,Atomfallputs another roadblock in your way. Not only must players find every Radio Tower location,Atomfallalso requires players to find a keycard that will power on each station. Thankfully, each Radio Tower keycard can be found relatively close to each respective tower.
What Happens After Activating All Atomfall Radio Towers?
Though we recommend activating the Slatten Dale, Casterfell Woods, and Skethermoor Radio Towers (in that order),you’re able to activate allAtomfallRadio Towers in any orderyou like.
Upon the activation of the third Radio Tower, you will hear a message ring out across the landscape, but it’s not Joyce Tanner’s voice. After activating the first and second towers, Joyce Tanner will call you over the intercom. But after the third, what seems like a coded message will ring out from the intercom.
Return to Joyce Tanner in Data Store Charliewithin the Interchange, andchoose to either confront her about this strange message or continue working with her.If you choose to continue working with her,she will direct you to recover some lost files near Casterfell Dam, which will unlock the Joyce Tanner ending to the ‘Escape’ Lead.
Slatten Dale Radio Tower Location
The first Radio Tower locationAtomfallplayers can access is in Slatten Dale. In the east area of the zone, you will find the Slatten Dale Radio Towerat coordinates 31E, 75.0N.
However, though it can be found very early in the game, the Slatten Dale Radio Tower is one of the most dangerous. That’s because it is situated in the middle of a camp that’s crawling with Outlaws.
You must either stealth your way through the camp orcarefully pick off Outlaws one-by-oneto avoid attracting too much attention.
Grenades can be helpful here, especially if you can get to high ground and toss one from stealth.
Once you reach and open the lock on the Slatten Dale Radio Tower,Atomfallplayers must find the Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard to turn it online.
Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard Location
A note by the switch for the Slatten Dale Radio Tower explains where to find the keycard. For the most part, the keycards for every Radio Tower inAtomfallcan be found nearby. In this case, theSlatten Dale Ratio Keycard can be found in a cave connected to the quarry just to the west.
Head out of the Outlaw Camp and into the quarry, and take care to avoid getting munched by the leeches in the water. Walk up to themetal beam in the middle of the quarry, and sprint towards the cave entrance to the east.
Continue through the cave to find the body of a scientist, which contains the Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard. Bring this back to the Radio Tower up above to activate this firstAtomfallRadio Tower location.
Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Location
The second Radio TowerAtomfallplayers shouldhead to is the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower. This Radio Tower is found in the middle of the zone above the central north-south road, atcoordinates 24.4E, 89.3N.
Walk north along the central path and look for the radio tower on your right, up a hill. Follow the curved path upward to find two Outlaws outside the locked door. Deal with the Outlaws however you please (a grenade is handy here), then open the lock to unlock the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower.
As with all Radio Towers inAtomfall, you will need to find the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard to activate this Radio Tower.
Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard Location
The Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard is relatively easy to get because it’s tied to Joyce Tanner’s questline. After powering the Interchange, whichbrings Tanner to Data Store Charlie,Atomfallplayers will be given the key to Bunker L9– conveniently located just to the west of the Radio Tower.
Use this keycard toenter Bunker L9 at coordinates 23.3E, 90.6N.Bunker L9 is full of dormant Ferals, sobe careful as you explore the dangerous facility. Look for a metal staircase that leads upward to a kind of overseer’s office.
Pull the lever, then head to the upper level to your left to find the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard on a table next to a Training Stimulant. There is also a crawlspace that leads directly in front of the Ventilation Override lever, but it’s easier to just find the staircase.
Bring the Keycard back to the Radio Tower to the east to activate the second Radio Tower. There’s just one left to activate now: the Skethermoor Radio Tower.
Skethermoor Radio Tower Location
The Skethermoor Radio Tower is the last that most players will typically find, but it’s not too hard to access. This Radio Tower location is just south of the Vehicle Storage Bunkerin the far southeast of Skethermoor, a short walk east of the Skethermoor Prison complex in the southwest. The specificcoordinates are 34.1E, 73.6N.
You should see this Radio Tower from quite a long way away, as Skethermoor is relatively flat and unvegitated. Once you get to the top, you will find a note that briefly describes the location of the Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard. Thankfully, like the other keycards, it’s not too far away.
Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard Location
The Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard can be found just to the north of the Radio Tower itself in a Protocol bunker. Head along the path leading north, and watch out for Protocol units along the way, to enter theVehicle Storage Bunker found at coordinates 43.4E, 74.6N.
You will be considered trespassing inside the Vehicle Storage Bunker, so be stealthy or take out Protocol units before they turn hostile against you. Use takedowns and the Bow to avoid drawing attention inside this area.
Explore the bunker, make full use of the hatches and crawlspace that will keep you out of sight, and you will find theSkethermoor Radio Tower Keycard location on a table inside a kind of meeting room.
Pick this up, then head back to the Skethermoor Radio Tower location to activate this third, and final, Radio Tower inAtomfall.
