WCW is an integral part of the history of sports entertainment. Their Monday Nitro show directly competed with the WWF’s Raw in the 1990s, and they ignited the Monday Night War.WWE 2K25MyGM represents this by makng the brand available for selection.
The brand’s power card allows the player to extend the duration of all legends on the player’s roster by three weeks. This can be useful if players are using their budget to hire legends, like Jake “the Snake” Roberts or Macho Man Randy Savage to their roster. Otherwise, though, it is one of the weaker power cards in MyGM.
6NXT Mutiny
Allows Players To Release Superstars To Collect Cash
A brand created for this season’s MyRise game mode, NXT Mutinyis the culmination of NXT superstars, both past and present, that are unhappy with the WWE’s insistence that only Raw and Smackdown are considered the main roster. This brand carries over intoWWE 2K25’sMyGM mode.
The brand’s power card allows the player to release three superstars and collect their full contract price, which can become useful towards the end of the season when looking to bring new stars in through trades or free agency. However, this could become ineffective if players are happy with their existing roster.
5NXT 2.0
Pick Up Free Agents For Discounted Prices
NXT 2.0 has been featured in MyGM since the mode returned inWWE 2K22. The show was known for featuring great matches,including Solo Sikoa vs. Carmelo Hayes, which features inWWE 2K25’sshowcase mode.
The brand’s power card can be extremely useful when looking to fill out a player’s roster, if, following the draft, some big names haven’t been drafted. The player can use it to pick up three free agents at half price, meaning the potential cheap capture of a big name.
4ECW
An Extremely Powerful Power Card
ECW was known for its hardcore style of wrestling in the 1990s and early 2000s before being acquired by WWE, leading to the invasion storyline. Often cited as one of the reasons for the attitude era beginning in WWE, ECW was known for its use of weapons and extreme matches that had fans hooked.
InWWE 2K25,MyGM ECW comes with a power card that can destroy a brand’s show in an important show,with the ability to block the brand from using three champions the following week. If an opposing brand is setting up a huge show, removing three of their champions can derail their planning, potentially removing a rivalry from their show or their most popular superstar. The only reason ECW doesn’t place higher is the lack of female titles in the brand. With fewer championships, the player has less room to maneuver when trying to put on a huge show.
3Raw
Cause Chaos For An Opposing Brand
Raw is one of the premier shows for the WWE, and this is reflected in MyGM mode. Having started in 1993, Raw has become the WWE’s flagship show, with the move to Netflix garnering millions of viewers each week.
WithinWWE 2K25MyGM, the Raw brand’s power cardallows players to select an opposing brand, with three randomly selected superstars becoming unavailable to compete in next week’s show. This can prove useful when looking to disrupt an opponent’s momentum, as they look to garner more fans.
2NXT
A Boost To All Title Matches Can Provide An Excellent Show
NXT debuted in 2010, with many of the biggest superstars in the WWE beginning their careers on the Orlando-based show. Replacing WWE’s ECW show over time, NXT has gone on to establish itself as a great show in its own right.
The task for players taking over NXT in WWE 2K25 MyGM is to make it the premier brand, and the power card at the brand’s disposal is incredibly useful for this. When “Fighting Champion” is played, each title match booked for a show receives a large match rating boost, ensuring high-quality matches, which ensures more fans are gained. With the ability to ensure a high match card rating and with five titles available on the brand, it can provide the fan boost required to top the ratings.
