Assassin’s Creed Shadowsfeatures a multitude of abilities for both of its protagonists, divided into multiple skill trees. Since Naoe, as a character, is designed to be played stealthily, her abilities in the skill tree reflect that. However, having so many abilities to choose from can get confusing, at least early on in the game. So, here are some of the best abilities for Naoe that players should unlock early inAssassin’s Creed Shadows.
Tidal Wave
(1 Mastery Point || Knowledge Rank 1)
A fast strike that deals 25% ability damage and leaves enemies vulnerable.
Dodge Attack
Quickly close the gap with a strike after dodging away from an enemy attack.
Feral Outburst
(5 Mastery Points || Knowledge Rank 1)
Naoe dashes towards an enemy and launches a flurry of slashes.
Quick Strike
(1 Mastery Point || Knowledge Rank 2)
Pause after a strike to launch 2 strikes in quick succession.
Cyclone Blast
(7 Mastery Points || Knowledge Rank 3)
Launch the Kusarigama in circles, pushing back enemies and dealing 8% ability damage per hit.
Shadow Piercer
Launch Tanto at an enemy, and quickly follow up with devastating strikes dealing 40% ability damage.
Leap Strike
Hold the attack button and use directional dodge to leap in the direction of an enemy to strike them.
Escape Strike
(2 Mastery Points || Knowledge Rank 2)
Hold the attack button and use the dodge button to strike an enemy, and follow it up by dashing away from them.(Leap Strike is a requirement)
Shadow Barrage
(4 Mastery Points || Knowledge Rank 2)
Naoe will enter a state of hyper-awareness, allowing her to automatically dodge all attacks and launch up to 7 hits on enemies for 20 seconds.
Smoke Bomb
Throw a smoke bomb within a designated radius to break enemies' line of sight.
Kunai Assassination Damage I
(3 Mastery Points || Knowledge Rank 2)
Removes an additional chunk of health from enemies hit with Naoe’s kunai.
Allow Naoe to throw a bell and distract enemies.
Shallow Water Breathing
Allows Naoe to breathe through a reed while staying still in shallow water.
Igan Roll
While falling, players can now hold the dodge button before landing to break the fall.
Shoji Door Assassination
(2 Mastery Points || Knowledge Rank 1)
Allows Naoe to assassinate enemies through shoji panel doors with her katana.
Double Assassinate
Naoe will be able to assassinate two enemies standing close together.
Assassinations remove 1 additional chunk of health.
