Titanfall 2is anFPS gamewith the player taking on the role of Jack Cooper, as they become the unwitting pilot of a Titan mech, BT-7274. The game has a real twist to it, in the form of the time-warping scenarios, that require the player to navigate using not only three dimensions, but time itself, as they fight against the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation.
If there is one bad thing aboutTitanfall 2, it is that the main campaign is quite short, and can be completed in a single,long gaming session. However, there are some great mods that can help to spice things up for players who would like to try a second playthrough once they have completed the vanilla game.
7Toggle HUD
Great For Making Screenshots
The first entry on this list is a very simple mod that has plenty of utility.Titanfall 2is a visually pleasing game, but gettinggood screenshotscan be tough, as much of the screen is taken up by the Titan and its weapons. The Toggle HUD helps with this.
Once installed, pressing the caps lock key will toggle the HUD on and off. This means screenshots can be grabbed without the targeting overlay and other HUD elements being visible. However, toggling off the HUD will also remove all game menus, so it isn’t perfect, but better than not being able to toggle the HUD off at all.

Titanfall 2was developed using a customized version of theSource Engine. Unfortunately, this means that the game looks a little dated today. However, the small but dedicated modding community has developed a few mods that freshen up the graphics.
The Lightsight Reshade For TitanFall2 is one such mod. It aims to clear up the display, and reduce the amount of noise that is rendered. The aim of the mod is to maintain the dynamic effects, but make them much clearer. The mod works at all resolutions, and has a minimal impact on performance.
5Colony Overhaul
Upgrades Colony Graphics
Colony Overhaul is another graphical enhancement mod forTitanfall 2. This one has a very specific focus, and the results are pretty impressive indeed. The mod does nothing during single-player campaign play, but it does have a huge impact on the Colony multiplayer map.
First of all, the Colony map is switched from day to night, making it much darker. A lovely skybox that displays a nebula in space has been added as well. However, it is the additional bloom, as well as the custom desaturation filter and the tweaks to the god that really make this map pop when using the mod.
4No-Intro (Skip Startup - Splash Videos)
Save Some Valuable Time
As mods go, the No-Intro (Skip Startup - Splash Videos) for Titanfall 2 is quite simple in effect but likely wasn’t simple to develop.Titanfall 2has a pretty long delay between starting the game and getting to the main menu, due to the many splash and cut scenes.
This mod removes all of these tedious video segments entirely. This means that the game loads much more quickly, and the player won’t need to escape past multiple splash screens before they can load a save or enter a multiplayer match.
3Destroyer Titan

The Destroyer Titan mod forTitanfall 2does something quite clever, it adds the class Destroyer Titan fromTitanfall Onlineto the game. This isn’t just a graphical change, switching models, the mod makes the Titan completely playable, with all of its equipment and abilities.
The Titan has its own weapon as well, the charge cannon, and also a multi-target missile system. Abilities include overcloak, which, as the name suggests, enables overcharging the Titan’s cloaking ability. This is a great mod for mixing up gameplay, as playing as a different Titan changes the game considerably.
2Night City (Northstar)
Revamps The Angel City Map
Night City (Northstar) mod forTitanfall 2has a couple of prerequisites that players will need to cover to get this mod to work. They will need to use the special Northstar client, and also install the VanillaPlus mod.
Once these prerequisites are met, the Angel City map will receive a number of visual changes. Firstly, it will be switched to night from day, and an appropriate skybox will be included. Secondly, it changes the signage and other visual elements to new visuals that are inspired byNight CityfromCyberpunk 2077. The result looks great, and is very convincing.

One minor annoyance when playingTitanfall 2is the screen space that some of the larger weapons take up. They block the view, and make it hard to spot enemies at long range. The Titanfall 2 Viewmodel And ADS FOV Change mod helps with this problem.
All viewmodels have been moved down and to the right slightly, which results in more empty screen space towards the center of the screen, which vastly improves the player’s vision. Furthermore, the field of view has been tweaked for each weapon, as well as the zoom level that is possible. Overall, a great little mod that solves one of the problems that players have with the game.
