The new server is set in Valencia’s Great Desert and features special rules designed specifically for long-time players who have already mastered the game’s mechanics. Players can take on this challenge using the Warrior, Sorceress, Ranger, or Berserker. Points can be earned by battling against monsters or other adventurers, as well as by completing daily quests. The Hardcore server pre-season is available from March 13 to April 10, though Pearl Abyss noted that the dates are subject to change. However, players should be aware that the hardcore server can only be played for two hours each day.
Black Desert Online’s New Hardcore Server Limits Playtime to Two Hours a Day
Even though the server has a playtime cap, progressing through it comes with some conveniences. For instance, the points players earn from quests don’t disappear even if their character dies, making things a bit more forgiving when engaging inBlack Desert OnlinePvP. After obtaining points, players can exchange them for Hardcore Honor and trade them for rewards in the Manage Currency UI. To access the server, players will find a new Hardcore tab in the Server section and must create a Hardcore-exclusive character that starts at level 63.
