Robertson and Lopez are at Wasco State Prison with Preston Borders. They ask him where his money is coming from. They also quiz him on his burner phone records, and his links to Curtis Dignam. Borders insists they turn off the recorder, and that is when he claims Bosch was the one who called him, but he insists on a sit-down with the District Attorney, and we’ll talk about it. The RHD detectives ponder whether it’s just an attempt by Borders to get out of Wasco State Prison for the day, or does he really want to talk?
