Summary

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6developer Treyarch Studios has confirmed that Gun Game willreturn to Multiplayer in a new playlist update on March 13, along with a new event and two new Moshpit playlists. Despite being a massive fan favorite in theCall of Dutycommunity, Gun Game is rotated in and out ofBlack Ops 6’s playlists regularly, but this timeit’s returning with one important change.

Gun Game finally made itstriumphant return with the launch ofBlack Ops 6Season 2, but the mode wasn’t around for long before being rotated out. Just like past instalments, Gun Game is a free-for-all mode where all players begin the match with the same starting weapon and must earn eliminations to cycle through twenty different weapons. Melee attacks will send an enemy back to the previous weapon, and the first player to earn a kill with every weapon is deemed victorious. However, the mode’s return was somewhat controversial, as many players were unhappy as Treyarch had removed the ability to party up with friends for Gun Game. Thankfully, that’s about to change.

Fans can also expect to find a new Face Off Endurance Moshpit, both for Core and Hardcore. The mode was only introduced last week, but fans are already loving it, as it extends the time and score limits for various 6v6 respawn modes. Now, with the new Face Off variation, fans can battle it out on some ofBlack Ops 6’s smallest mapswith increased score limits and gameplay time.

As the new update will merely be to introduce new playlists, fans likely shouldn’t expect any significant gameplay changes or weapon adjustments. However, it was only earlier this week thatBlack Ops 6players were treated to a new update. On March 11, a new patch was deployed that significantly buffed the D1.3 Sector, one ofBlack Ops 6’s newest weapons. The update alsoincluded numerous bug fixes and improvements, and also extended the currentTeenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesEvent Pass from March 13 to March 20, likely due to the recent delay inSeason 3.
