WhileBlack Ops 6players will be able to jump into the new season from April 2, the return of Verdansk meansWarzone’s servers will be offline for a total of 24 hoursbetween April 2 and April 3, resulting in some lengthy downtime for players. The good news is that once servers are back online, players will be able to jump back into Verdansk, which has been rebuilt from the ground up with stunning new visuals, after an almost three and a half year absence.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Reveals Full Roadmap for Season 3
AfterCall of DutySeason 3 faced an unexpected delayearlier this month, Activision has now pulled back the curtain and revealed all of the new content coming toBlack Ops 6with Season 3 on April 2. As seen in the official roadmap below, players will have three new multiplayer maps to jump into at launch, including a remastered version ofBlack Ops' iconic Firing Range. As for the remaining two maps, Barrage is a brand-new 6v6 map set in 1968 Vietnam surrounding one Summit Watch at the front lines of the battle. Then there’s Nomad, which is a small-sized 6v6 and 2v2 map set in the ruins of a fortified settlement in Afghanistan. Two more maps, as well as a new Nuketown variant, will be arriving as part of the game’s mid-season update.
Rumors and leaks regardingnew weapons for Season 3 ofCall of Dutyhave now proven true, as some iconic guns from 2019’sModern Warfarereboot have been confirmed for the upcoming season. The CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle and the HDR Sniper Rifle will be included in the Season 3 Battle Pass, while the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle will be granted to players who log in toCall of Duty: Warzoneduring its 24-hour downtime on April 2. The Ladra SMG, Nail Gun, and Kali Sticks will all be available as part of an in-season event. Fans can also get their hands on the Grau 5.56, but in the form of a conversion kit for the Swat 5.56. The kit will also be available in the Season 3 Battle Pass alongside the Monolithic Suppressor.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6players will also be able to jump into two new modes with the launch of Season 3: Sharpshooter and Demolition. Fans of the series will be highly familiar with these two modes, but for those who aren’t, Sharpshooter is a free-for-all party mode where every player is assigned the same loadout, which changes every 45 seconds. As for Demolition, players must alternate between attacking and defending two bomb sites.
