While Season 3 was initially slated to launch on March 20,Black Ops 6fans will be able to jump into the new season on April 2, followed byWarzone​​​​​​on April 3. After revealing a plethora of new details surrounding thereturn of Verdansk forWarzoneSeason 3, Activision announced on the latestCOD POD episodethatWarzone’s servers will be offline for 24 hours in preparation for the map’s return. While fans won’t be able to jump into a match ofWarzoneduring the server downtime, which will occur between April 2 and April 3, the studio has revealed that anybody who visits theWarzonemain menu during the downtime will receive the Kilo 141 for free. The iconicModern Warfareassault rifle is just one of the many returning weapons set to make a comeback with Season 3.

The lengthy server downtime will be a big disappointment to many players, but it’s not without good reason. When Season 3 officially launches on April 3,Call of Duty: Warzonefans will once again be able to jump into amassively improved version of Verdansk.
