Call of Duty: Warzone Confirms Return of Amax and Kilo

In anew videoon the officialCall of DutyTwitter account, two operators can be seen at approximately 1 minute and 15 seconds, one fromBlack Ops 6and one fromWarzone. Both are on Rebirth Island, the iconic Resurgence map fromWarzone, with one holding the Kilo 141 and the other holding the CR-56 AMAX. Given that one of these operators is fromBlack Ops 6, it seems as thoughCall of Dutyhas practically confirmed the return of these two weapons. It would also align with previous leaks surrounding Season 3, which point towardsthe return of variousModern Warfareelements, including weapons and operators.

If leaks and rumors are to be believed, Season 3 is going to be a monumental moment forWarzonefans. Activision has already confirmed back in 2024 thatWarzone’s very first Battle Royale map will be returning in Spring 2025, but now it looks like we could just be a matter of weeks away from Verdansk’s return as various leakers and insiders claim the map will make its comeback with the launch of Season 3. Activision has yet to confirm whether or not this will be the case, but given that the map was recently added to the in-game files and that the studio has already said the new season will be a “big moment,” it seems increasingly likely.

WithCall of Duty’s player count continuing to decline, there’s a lot riding on the game’s upcoming season. While some are skeptical about Verdansk’s return, Activision appears to be attempting to go all out for Season 3. That’s if leaks are to be believed, anyway. While it now looks to be practically confirmed that the Kilo and AMAX are making their return, previous leaks also suggested thatotherModern Warfareweapons will be returning with Season 3, including the Grau 5.56 assault rifle and HDR sniper rifle. Whether or not Activision intends to bring back even more classic weapons remains to be seen. Fans will likely receive official confirmation in the coming weeks.
