One-Punch Manfans are rejoicing with the news ofSeason 3coming in October 2025, and many of them are eager to know which new characters will be debuting during theMonster Association Arc. This arc will probably be divided into two parts since it covers a lot of events happening inside the mysterious nest controlled by Gyoro Gyoro and Monster King Orochi.
Nevertheless, the hype is real, and for fans who cannot wait and haven’t read the Manga yet, here are some possible candidates for new debuts duringSeason 3 of the anime. Blast
Finally Making His Appearance After Dozens Of Teasers
One of themost anticipated events byOne-Punch Manfans is the Monster Association Arc, mainly because it will feature the appearance of Blast the Nº1 S Rank Hero from the association and allegedly, the most powerful one in the world. Blast has made a few ‘appearances’ as a teaser (silhouettes, mentioned, etc.) but wasn’t directly included in the cast during Seasons 1 and 2 of the Anime.
This time, he will be joining forces with the heroes diving into the Monster Association Nest, meeting none other than Saitama, but stating that his business is to track down the intervention of a mysterious inter-dimensional being he names as ‘God.’ He has been having a long beef with this powerful entity and suspects it had to do with the Monster proliferation on Earth somehow. His appearance will set the stage for a yet-to-be-revealed event that fans have expected for years: the explanation behind Saitama’s incredible powers.
Captain Mizuki
One Of The Few Female Characters Appearing In The Monster Association Arc
When theHero Association recruited a teamto raid the monster nest located in Z-City (right below Saitama’s building block) Captain Mizuki, a former Track and Field star athlete was among the B-Rank Candidates about to be promoted to A-Rank. As such, she saw this opportunity to join the task force as a way to move up in the Hero Association Ranks.
Little did she know that she was about to embark on a perilous mission, facing some of the strongest beings related to the Monster Association. As a former athlete, Mizuki was bound to be a team player, and she refused to let others suffer for her shortcomings. She is stubborn, but caring, and these qualities made her quite popular among fans of the One Punch Man manga. Surely, once she debuts in the anime, her popularity will keep increasing.
Overgrown Rover
Another fan-favorite character that is probably making its debutduring Season 3 ofOne-Punch Manis the Overgrown Rover, a Dragon-Level Monster that resembles a monstrous dog with many eyes. This monster appears to have been created from an abandoned dog that was left behind during Z-City’s evacuation, turning into a monster that guards its former home (the Monster Lair) with unparalleled viciousness.
During the Monster Association Arc, Saitama encounters this beast and offers it a bone, then instead of turning it into an unrecognizable pile of monster goo, he manages to somewhat tame it. Rover lately is re-found by Genos and Saitama, and the creature is considerably reduced in size (not in power) so, ends up becoming a permanent member of team Saitama alongside Black Sperm.
Homeless Emperor
One Of The Most Dangerous Members Of The Monster Association
The most powerful member of the Monster Association, he was one of the beings touched by ‘God,’ who received tremendous power and developed some sort of messiah complex: he thinks the human race is a plague and that he is the chosen one that has to destroy mankind and save the planet in the process. He can create energy at will, and control it, creating sentient missiles that can track his foes until they obliterate them. His strength, speed, and resistance are also on a superhuman level.
Homeless Emperor has tremendous power, being classified as Dragon-Level. Curiously, he may be even stronger than Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro (Psykos), but since their goals align, this powerful being has decided to lend his hands on their quest to vanquish humanity for the sake of the beings that will inherit the planet. He used to be an office worker, who was fired and bullied by his colleagues, then kicked out by his landlord until he became a poor homeless man. Then, he met this strange being known as ‘God,’ and was changed forever, turning into a menace for all of those who cross his path.
Platinum Sperm (True Form)
After Garou, He Is The Most Dangerous Being The Heroes Will Face
The monstrous final form of Black Sperm consists of thousands of billions of cells, fused until perfection. A homage toDragon Ball Z’s Cell in his perfect form, this monster has incredible strength and speed. Platinum Sperm is the pinnacle of arrogance and power, and one of the top combatants of the Monster Association.
In this form, this monster is capable of going toe to toe with some of the most powerful S-Rank heroes, including Atomic Samurai and Genos. The former had a really hard time fighting him since this creature is his natural counter. Atomic Samurai abilities can cut his enemies at a sub-atomic level, but Platinum Sperm’s regeneration speed is faster than what he can cut, making it nearly impossible for him to defeat this Dragon-Level treat.
Psykos
A Former Rival Of Tatsumaki Resurfaces
The real brains behind the Monster Association’s operations is Psykos, an Esper who was experimented on and trained alongside Tatsumaki and Fubuki and later became Tornado of Terror’s nemesis. She is obsessed with killing Tatsumaki and proving that she is stronger as an Esper and better as a strategist.
Through her incredible mind manipulation skills, she has been using Gyoro-Gyoro as a proxy, a meat puppet that serves as a communication link with Lord Orochi. Her appearance in the anime is also practically guaranteed since she will be one of the main antagonists that will face the heroes during the next Arc.
God
The True Antagonist And Blast’s Nemesis Is Finally Revealed
A mysterious inter-dimensional being that is suspected to be the one granting both monsters and certain heroes their powers. His long-term enmity with Blast (the strongest hero on Earth) has caused the Association’s Number 1 absence throughout the years. Taking the fight to unknown regions of the universe, the hero Blast and God have been circling around each other in a deadly dance.
The appearance of this powerful antagonist is directly linked to Garou’s transformation into a monster, and also, toSaitama’s mysterious inner strength. But, of course, it would be better for fans to discover these secrets by themselves when Season 3 ofOne Punch Manfinally hits the streaming services.
