Classroom of the Elitefans have reason to be excited about the series. A new arc will soon begin with the release ofClassroom of the Elite Year 3— since high school in Japan lasts for three years, this will be the final saga of the story. To celebrate that, a new trailer has been released.
Not only is a new arc beginning, but the anime will also soon finally start covering the events ofYear 2, and news about the upcoming Season 4 could be released very soon. The anime is available onCrunchyroll.
Classroom of the Elite Year 3 Trailer
The officialClassroom of the Eliteaccount on X (formerly Twitter) dropped a trailer promotingClassroom of the Elite Year 3 Volume 1, which will be out in a few days in Japan. Thetrailer is narrated by Akari Kito, who voices Suzune Horikita in the anime. Check it out:
While Kiyotaka Ayanokoji is considered the protagonist of the series,Horikita is a key character and an ally, at least until the end of Year 2. Given the synopsis ofYear 3 Volume 1, some fans now even think that she should prevail over Ayanokoji.
Classroom of the Elite Year 3 Vol. 1 Release Date
Year 3 Volume 1(Y3V1) will beout in Japan on July 09, 2025, andthe synopsis changes the course of the storyin a completely different way than fans would ever imagine. Now, the former allies in Class D are, for the first time, in Class A — it is the first time thatpeople from Class D have been transferred to Class A. However, someone is missing: Ayanokoji himself.

While Horikita and all her peers are now in Class A, Ayanokoji is in Class C instead. And the former allies will now have to defeat him if they want to graduate as Class A. This means that the story is now in some sort of “Everyone VS. Ayanokoji” plot line.
Classroom of the Elite Year 3has yet to be licensed in English. It is likely that Seven Seas will announce it after concludingYear 2.
Classroom of the Elite Season 4
Season 4 was announced shortly after Season 3 finished broadcasting, but no further details have been released. However, it is likely that news will be revealed either at AnimeJapan 2025 (March 22–23 in Japan) or as soon asY3V1is out. This means that we might get some updates, like a trailer or a release window, this weekend or next week.

The next season will start adaptingClassroom of the Elite Year 2, and fans expect that the main staff of Season 3 will to return to the production. So those who want to pick up the original novel before Season 4 is released should start withYear 2.
