Summary

The return ofDaredevil: Born Againto streaming airwaves has allowed plenty of long-time fans of the original Netflix series to take a walk down memory lane this season. With the show being fully backed by Marvel andDaredevil: Born Againofficially being part of the interconnected MCU, there have been hopes from fans since Episode 1 that the show would unveil more that had to do with the comics and the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, a new tease, thanks to behind-the-scenes photos, shows that viewers are, at some point in Season 2, going to get to see something they’ve been waiting years for in abrand new comics-accurate Daredevil costume.

For the most part, Daredevil: Born Again has featured Matthew Murdock without his cowl and leather outfit. However, the latest episode, “Excessive Force,” finally saw the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen decide he needed to pick up his batons and go into battle in full regaliaagainst the murderous mural-painting Muse. Considering how big a deal putting the costume back on was when it comes to the rest of the season, where he had sworn to have ended his vigilante days, it’s a safe bet that he’s all the way back and there will be farmore action-packed episodesto come in the final three weeks of this first season.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Has A Special Surprise

The outfit he donned in “Excessive Force” apparently won’t be the last one he points on over the course ofDaredevil: Born Again, though it could be the only one he slips on this season. New behind-the-scenes pics shared by theTwitteraccount named Daredevil Shots, shows that at some point in Season 2, Matthew Murdock will be putting on a black suit that finally has thewell-known Daredevil Double Ds insignia.

In all, the account shared four behind-the-scenes photos. One showedDaredevil actor Matthew Coxstanding in the outfit with the cowl pulled down. Another showed him holding his trademark baton with his cowl pulled up over his head apparently talking to someone off camera. The third picture shows the actor back with his uniform all the way and in action, either getting ready to throw his baton or dodging something and the fourth picture shows him apparently in continuation of the third shot. All four very obviously show the color of the costume and the Double Ds on his chest.

While there’s plenty to be exited about for the rest of Season 1, it feels like the second installment of the Disney+ series might be even better for the fans considering showrunners have already promised that Karen Page will be back, and there are at least rumors that Foggy will make an appearance in some form or fashion.

Season 2 productionhas obviously already started, which is definitely good news with just three episodes left in the inaugural season of the return of The Man Without Fear. Now fans will have to see what the show has in store for the next three episodes.
