Known also as the final arc, the Sunrise Countdown Arc brings the most shocking fight scenes and dramatic encounters ofDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Being a part of the Final Battle Arc (part two of it specifically), it shows how the Demon Slayer Corps fights its final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji.After what happens in Infinity Castle, the scene changes to the outside, where the climax of the battle occurs, with the shades of dawn representing both the hope and danger for both demons and slayers.
It also depicts the climax of character growth and determination as well as an introduction to the emotional ending of the entire series. Now that the stakes are even higher and everyone’s lives are on the line, some will be willing to die as the meaning of heroism is shown to its core. Lately, more news regarding Infinity Castle is scheduled to be announced as of writing this, and viewers expect to see these moments animated and exceed expectations, which depict the decisive fight in the Sunrise Countdown arc.
The Final Confrontation: Muzan’s Impatience To Perfection
Underestimation and Impatience Can Be Fatal Even To Immortality
Following the fierce fightsheld in Infinity Castle, the head of all demons, Muzan Kibutsuji, is pushed outside. Unfortunately, Muzan is extremely powerful, and even though his physical condition is highly critical because of the Anti-Kibutsuji drug, he still continues to regenerate despite being weakened. When the Demon Slayer Corps realizes this, all the Hashira and fighters who are still alive attack Muzan in an attempt to subdue him before daybreak.
The fight that follows is evidence of the toughness and solidarity of the Demon Slayer Corps. All members, from the Hashira to the latest additions to the organization, have equal responsibilitiesto contain Muzan and prevent himfrom launching his continuous assault. Tanjiro and the others continue to fight Muzan, who at this point is slowly starting to grow more impatient and aggressive as the Anti-Kibutsuji drug is fully starting to take effect on Muzan, and he wants to end the fight as quickly as possible before the sun rises.

Out of last resort, Muzan decides to give his own blood on to the injured Tanjiro Kamado totransform him into the Demon King. This turns Tanjiro into a demon and sets him against his friends in a rather emotional turn of events. The Demon Slayer Corps learn the difficult reality of fighting their friends, which in this case comes down to their friends to either take him out or die themselves, but none of them are able to kill him, and it’s perhaps one of the most emotional scenes of the series as this is the first time Inosuke speaks his name correctly.

Nezuko, who recently turned back into a human, reaches out to her brother, embodying the series' recurring themes of family bonds and redemption. After a strenuous battle with the upper moon demon captain, he receives aid from his friends and is treated with the demon antidote that Tamayo created. This scene alsoimplies the extinction of Muzan’s bloodline, as well as the victory of the Demon Slayer Corps and humanity. Finally, the survivors start the long, slow process of reconstruction, paying tribute to the losses suffered and striving for a life liberated from the horror of demonic entities.
