The biggest reasondemons are so terrified of Muzanis because he created them all and, in a way, he controls them. He was the first demon ever, and he started the cycle of demons by using his blood. Whenever he wants to transform a human into a demon, he injects his blood into them. This act doesn’t just make them demons, but also gives them enhanced strength, regeneration, and powerful Blood Demon Arts.
Muzan’s blood forms a direct link with every demon which allows him to read their thoughts. He knows every plan and move the demons are going to make, which makes it super easy for him to control them. So in case anyone is even thinking about betraying Muzan, he will know immediately andfinish them off in a second.
Using Fear As A Weapon
Muzan is superior to every other demonin terms of power. He can take out even the strongest of demons easily. We see this throughout the series when he disposes of lower moons if they fail in their tasks without thinking twice.Muzan also uses manipulationon demons like Daki and Akaza.
It is true that many demons follow Muzan out of sheer terror but some demons consider Muzan as their ultimate savior. Another scary thing about Muzan is that he has placed a curse on demons. Any demon who even speaks of his name or tries to reveal any information about him suffers major consequences. This happened to Susamaru, who accidentally uses Muzan’s name during a conversation, which results in his insides getting torn apart by three demon arms.

Muzan has also promised demons a lot of power and immortality if they follow him. This is why demons are always trying to please Muzan and become his favorite to get all the power in the world. Muzan can give humans the gift of immortality.
He can also give them the power to regenerate any part of their body, which makes them extremely difficult to kill. They also get rapid healing, which is why they are able to go up against the best of demon slayers and defeat them easily.

The reason why theUpper Moon are considered the strongest of demonsis because they are the most loyal. They move up the ranks the more they contribute toMuzan’s ultimate plan.
