Beginning July 18, 2025, theDisneyland Resortwill kick off its yearlong “Celebrate Happy” celebration, honoring seven decades of magic with immersive new shows, returning fan-favorites, and limited-time food offerings that promise to satisfy every Disney-loving foodie.
Entertainment-wise, theDisneyland 70th anniversary will debut two new projection shows, one at It’s a Small World in Disneyland Park, and another at Carthay Circle in Disney California Adventure. Fan-favorite shows are also returning, including Wondrous Journeys, the World of Color: Happiness nighttime spectacular, and Walt Disney — A Magical Life, which celebrates the legacy of the man behind the magic. The Disneyland Resort will be decked out in vibrant, celebratory decor, including a shimmering anniversary medallion adorning Sleeping Beauty Castle. Specialty snacks, beverages, and exclusive merchandise will be available throughout the parks, giving guests the chance to take home a tangible memory of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
Among the standout additions isthe return of the beloved “Paint the Night” parade, accompanied by a brand-new Paint the Night Dining Package at Plaza Inn. Guests can enjoy a hearty multi-course meal between 1 PM and 4 PM before heading to a reserved viewing area to watch the shimmering spectacle unfold on Main Street, USA. The dining package includes kid-friendly options and opens for reservations on July 05, 2025. Over at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, Storytellers Cafe is rolling out something extra magical: character dining at dinner for the very first time. At Donald’s Tales of Adventure Dinner Buffet, guests can dig into barbecue-style fare and decadent desserts while meeting Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and their friends. The beloved Mickey’s Tales of Adventure experience will continue to be available during breakfast and brunch hours. Reservations for this all-new dinner event also open on March 25.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is getting in on the anniversary action as well. The Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Nighttime Gathering returns for a limited time, offering a menu of savory favorites and sweet treats, along with exclusive takeaway items. Guests will wrap up the evening by viewing the nighttime spectacular “Fire of the Rising Moons,” which celebrates the Force under the Batuu spires. Reservations for this galactic gathering open June 08, 2025.
Right in time for Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration, the resort has unveileda limited-time Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer, available for purchase starting March 11. Guests planning visits between May 16 and August 14 can take advantage of a 3-day, 1-park-per-day ticket for as low as $120 per day, a total of $360. Those looking to stretch their savings even further can opt for a 4-day, 1-park-per-day ticket for just $100 per day, totaling $400. Alongside these ticket deals, Disneyland Resort is also rolling out special hotel discounts, giving guests even more reasons to join the anniversary festivities.
