Summary
Season 4 ofDr. Stonehas shifted away from the flashy battle episodes and given rise to more strategy-based episodes. Instead of Science against Power, this season brings wits against wits, placing Senku and his allies against Xeno and his group. With every step, the two sides are equally matched and outsmart each other in every move that they deliver.
This has been helpful in making some of the shows’ brighter characters stand out. Many of the people on this list are involved in some form of combat, as well as other strategic fields such as science. These are the most intelligent characters inDr. Stone, Season 4, from great to genuinely unmatchable.
11Moz
A Battle-Ready Genius with Untapped Potential
Moz may not be a scientist; however, he’s not to be underestimated. Born and raised on Treasure Island, he developed highly acute instincts and reflexes. Compared to other warriors, Moz fights with a certain style where he anticipates the winning move, anduses it to outsmart his opponents. His cunning makes him a great fighter.
However, Moz has been mostly sidelined in Season 4, and has not been able to display any of his abilities since the war between Senku’s Kingdom of Science and Xeno’s forces began. Of course, in the right circumstances, he could demonstrate that he could be more than a fighter. His combat strength and resourcefulness could help in future conflicts.
10Hyoga
A Master of Strategy and Deception
Hyoga is also one of those characters whose intelligence is not portrayed well due to his great fighting capabilities. He shows incredible skill in how he interprets battle situations, enemy positions, and how he manages the fight. He is not only a warrior, but also a clever man who considers the psychological component of a fight anduses trickery to his benefit.
Even when Hyoga was locked up last season, he was still feared by everyone. He’s a good example of the survival and leadership of the series, which sets him apart as one of the most intricate characters. If he gets another chance to play a major role, he will show once more that he is intelligent and capable of strategizing well.
9Matsukaze
Loyalty and Wisdom Beyond His Years
Matsukaze is a mostly silent but wise guardian of Ginro, and possesses valuable knowledge of both feudal ways of life and fighting skills. Even though he accepts the role of a bodyguard first, he shows wisdom as he remembers the history and traditions. Since he was alive during the petrification era, he adds a different perspective on how the Kingdom of Science is run,to help them make decisionsconcerning the present age.
Matsukaze is no scientist, yet he is a master at reading people and guessing their moves in a social context. He is very skilled in combat, and he has deep instincts that help him fight for the comrades.
8Kohaku
Strength and Intelligence in Equal Measure
Kohaku’s defining trait is physical strength, but her intelligence is no joke. From the start, she was portrayed as someone capable of assessing situations, and immediately saw that Tsukasa was not one to trust.Though she lacks scientific education, she is good at evaluating scenarios, problem-solving, and quick decision-making. With her phenomenal observational skills, she can see things that are invisible to other people. It’s an excellent talent when the characters need to identify a lie, an ambush, or an unconventional solution.
Her curiosity, combined with a willingness to learn, made her the first to accept Senku into her kingdom and learn his methods of science. Intelligence is not just about how much one knows, but also how one uses knowledge. Kohaku is a perfect example of how it is possible to have both muscles and intelligence.
7Tsukasa Shishio
The Strongest with a Sharp Mind
Despite being introduced as the “Strongest High School Primate,” Tsukasa is also among the most intelligent characters in the series. He knows the concept of the human mind better than anyone, and his communication skills enable him to inspire people. Although his initial methods and objectives were extreme, fans could understand why he took such measures. He does not act on impulse; he always analyzes what is going on.
Tsukasa demonstrated analytical skills by immediately identifying the danger Stanley is with firearms in Season 4. At first, he was a villain, but since joining Senku, he has expanded his uses. Tsukasa is not just a combatant; he is a strategist too.
6Ukyo Saionji
A Master of Sound and Strategy
Ukyo’s intelligence manifests in many ways, but the one that embodies him is his hearing. They bought him as a former sonar technician who had anentrancing talent for identifying distant sounds, making him an ideal scout and planner. He can spy undetected, gaining a significant upper hand.
Ukyo also has excellent haggling and diplomatic skills. He strives for nonviolence on many occasions and, through his swift thinking, he avoids confrontation. Although his strength level is not to be scoffed at, he is one of the most rational characters in the series, mostly due to his peaceful personality.
5Ryusui Nanami
The Master of Strategy and Opportunities
Ryusui Nanami may not be a scientist, but he possesses incredible intelligence. Being a master navigator, the best sailor, a strategist and a master of opportunities, he can evaluate risks, knowing whento take the biggest risksand come out successful. He is comfortable commanding a ship in unknown waters and assessing people’s behavior.
He is perceptive of others, using charm and greed to advance the Kingdom of Science. Ryusui won’t pass on an opportunity, not just for himself, but also to ensure that the people around know that this is for the best.
4Stanley Snyder
A Cold, Calculated Marksman
Stanley is a military genius. His marksmanship could inspire fear in anyone, but in addition, he always gets the big picture right and flawlessly executes every move he has planned. He is always thinking about what may happen next, what his enemies may do, and how he can counter it.
As Xeno’s right-hand man, Stanley is more than just the company’s mercenary — he is a strategist with knowledge of battlefields. He makes sure he knows his enemies' strengths and what makes them vulnerable. He is one of the biggest challenges for Senku and his allies, and he knows how to remain calm even when the situation is critical.
3Chrome
Chrome may not be the intellectual genius that Senku is, but there is no doubting his drive and ingenuity.Chrome learns science by testing, and thus shows that intelligence is not just in the heart but in one’s ability to learn.
After Senku got injured, he relinquished his authority to Chrome, who did a splendid job in leadership and problem-solving without even communicating. Finding out Senku was hurt, he knew it was on him to continue their plan of infiltrating Xeno’s empire. This proves that he is ready to take the place of the Kingdom of Science, because of how he thinks on the spot.
2Dr. Xeno
Brilliant, But Morally Gray
Dr. Xeno is a genius scientistwith immense intelligence in engineering and aerodynamics, as well as in military tactics. That itself puts him among the most valuable assets in the post-petrification world. While Senku’s goal is to restore civilization for the benefit of all people, Xeno sees knowledge as a means of domination. His brutal efficiency demonstrates that it’s not the presence of the intellect, but rather the approach to its usage that defines a leader.
Although he has a questionable moral compass, Xeno accomplished a lot for science in this new world. His scientific advancements, ranging from making firearms to advanced machinery, are evidence of his scientific prowess. Nevertheless, his greatest weakness is his short-sightedness and blindness to matters beyond the attainment of his personal goals. Instead of heading for the progress of humankind, he aims for the world where he is the ruler.
