Summary

Luke Dale, who portrays Hans Capon inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, has shared some interesting sequel ideas for Warhorse Studios' popular RPG. The popularity ofKingdom Come: Deliverance 2has meant that many are already looking forward to whatever the developer has planned next for the series.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2launched in February to rave reviews, with many praising its engaging story as it laid its claim for a place among the Game of the Year contenders for 2025. The story itself is set in 1403 in the Kingdom of Bohemia, utilizing a mix of fictional characters alongside historical figures, making liberal use of actual events to tell its narrative. It’s an interesting approach that gives Warhorse Studios enough leeway to write its own story, without being too tied directly to the exact history behind each event.

Speaking to Dan Allen Gaming,Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Hans Caponactor, Luke Dale, has revealed that he’d like a game set during the Hussite Wars. “If money wasn’t a problem and time wasn’t a problem, I’d take us to the Hussite Wars. I think that’s an incredibly, incredibly rich part of history that not enough people know about… the stories that would come out of that, the weight, and the stakes, and all of the little bits of history that happened during that time would be astonishing.” Given the Hussite Wars began in 1419, this would mark a 16-year time skip fromKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which would be interesting to see how Warhorse Studios handles.

Even if I’m not involved, I’m sure they’ll smash it, because they never get it wrong. It’s all heart, it’s all coming from passion, that’s why they don’t fail.” Hans Capon fans shouldn’t quite get worried about Dale’s lack of involvement in a potential sequel to one of thebest RPGs of the 2020sjust yet, though.
