Now EA has unveiledF1 25, the latest entry in the line, with a new reveal trailer that details the company’s release plans and pre-order bonuses. The trailer itself mixes gameplay footage, CG cinematics, and recordings ofBritish racer andFortnitestar Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton will appear in-game as a racer for Ferrari, reflecting his joining the team from 2025 forward. He’s also on the cover of the game’s Iconic Edition, a more costly package that includes early access toF1 25starting on May 27, three days ahead of the full August 01, 2025, release date.

TheF1 25reveal trailer heavily promotes the notion of a “new chapter” following Hamilton’s unprecedented switch in racing teams from Mercedes to Ferrari, and its Iconic Edition will include a DLC pack of Hamilton-themed customization items. On top of that, the Iconic Edition furthers the reputation ofF1as one of themost realistic racing game seriesby unlocking an exclusive “King of Silverstone” F1 World Event inF1 24. Titled after Hamilton’s nickname, the event is based on the racer’s career as one of the most decorated Formula One drivers ever.

TheF1 25Iconic Edition also includes a number of bonuses based onF1 The Movie, an upcoming feature film starring Brad Pitt. Chapter Scenarios based on the movie will be available to race, and players will be able to use a Team Pack based on APXGP, the Grand Prix from theF1film. US players who pre-order will even receive a month-long subscription to F1 TV Pro, a live Grand Prix streaming platform focused on Formula One racing.

Even beyond fans of team Ferrari or Lewis Hamilton,F1 25looks like it may add some substantial improvements for players, such as to theF1 Braking Pointnarrative campaign, as well as an upgraded version of the My Team system, dubbed “My Team 2.0.” All in all, it should be a substantial package for racing fans.
