Summary

Fallout 76has received several updates that have introduced new areas and locations for players to explore, and the recent Ghoul Within Update has brought in lots of new content for players to enjoy. This particular update introduced six new locations for players to visit.

All except one of these new locations can be found at the top right side of the map, just next to the compass. The final new location is right next toSkyline Valley, at the bottom of the map. Some of these locations are connected to the new questline that allows players to transform into a Ghoul, while others are new places with interesting stories to discover.

Hillside Cavern In Fallout 76

6Hillside Cavern

Home To The Radiation Specialist

This abandoned facility is home to a couple of rather special Ghouls.Players who are interested inbecoming a Ghoulwill come here while following the quest Leap Of Faith. While much of the facility can’t be explored, it is still an interesting location to check out.

Aside from an initial unfriendly welcome, the interior of Hillside Cavern is completely safe, since there are no enemies inside. As for loot, there are some junk items lying around the place, but nothing particularly noteworthy.

Radiant Hills

5Radiant Hills

A Radioactive Hotspot Geared Towards Ghouls

Players who successfully transform into a Ghoul will wake up in Radiant Hills, a heavily irradiated location that is not very hospitable for human players. However, it’s aprime location for Ghouls to soak up the radioactive rays.Ghoul characters will need to visit this location regularly, as it’s home to Jaye Vo.She is the person to go to when looking for a disguise.

Unfortunately, one of the major downsides to living life as a Ghoul is that many factions don’t want Ghouls anywhere near them. Ghoul characters will need to put on a disguise before they’ll be able to enter places such as Fort Atlas and The Whitespring Bunker, so they’ll need to see Jaye Vo often.

The Bullengrube iN Fallout 76

4The Bullengrube

A Waterfall With A Cool Secret

Located slightly east of Hillside Cavern, there’s a beautiful location called The Bullengrube. Here, there is a large waterfall pouring down into an incredibly deep lake. There’s also a hidden cave deep under the water on the western side of the waterfall.

This cave contains a skeleton, some junk items, a chest, and a note explaining what took place in this cave. By following the waterfall and heading north, players can stumble across another waterfall, which contains a crashed Vertibird sticking out of the water. There are also plenty of great places whereplayers can put down their CAMP, which makes it a prime location for avid builders.

Point Repose In Fallout 76

3Point Repose

Point Repose is a picturesque location; however, it does have a rather sad story tied to it. On a bench next to a cooking station, there’s a note titled “Goodbye Justin.” It’s about a man who is slowly losing his memory and becominga Feral Ghoul.

Throughout the area, there are additional notes explaining the purpose of Point Repose. It’s the last home for those who are becoming feral. There are a couple of notes mentioning something known as the “last door,” which is where soon-to-be Feral Ghouls are sent. This door can be found on the eastern side of the compound. However, it’s locked.

Susan’s Cabun

The key to the door is on a barrel outside the nearby cabin. Upon unlocking the door, the player will be attacked by all the Feral Ghouls that were sent through the last door.

2Susan’s Cabin

A New Addition For A New Event

This location is easy to miss, because it isn’t in the same area as the other new locations that were added with this update. To find this place, head to Hemlock Springs Dump and go east. This location is right on the edge of the Skyline Valley region.

This place is home to a character named Black-Eyed Susan. While she doesn’t interact much with the player at the time of writing, things will soon change. This location was added in for the Big Bloom Event, which is coming up soon inFallout 76. Unfortunately, for now, there isn’t a lot to do here. But it’s still worth visiting Susan’s Cabin, since it is a rather pleasant area with lots of colorful flowers dotted around.

Old Danielson Cabin

1Old Danielson Cabin

A Sinister Cabin

At first glance, Old Danielson Cabin looks like a normal cabin. However, not all is as it seems. There are bones in the kitchen,a chainsaw on the desk, and blood splatters throughout the location. There’s also a note that insinuates that Old Danielson Cabin was once home to a killer, confirming what the gruesome surroundings suggest. One extract from the note reads: “I have no trouble finding someone to sneak into the trunk.”

To make the place a lot creepier, close to the cabin there is a big pile of skeletons in a pit. As for the previous occupant, all signs seem to point towards him becoming a Wendigo. More often than not, players will find a Wendigo patrolling this area, lending credence to this theory.
