The release date and official name forFallout 76’s Season 20 and playable Ghoul update have finally been revealed, alongside the new Community Calendar of Seasonal Events for the next few months. Coming on March 18, the Ghoul Within update forFallout 76will deliver a slew of new content, and players can also look forward to plenty of new and returning Events.
With how packed the coming months will be in terms of Seasonal Events,2025 seems like the perfect time to playFallout 76, both for new and returning players. Whether players are planning on turning their character into a Ghoul or not, there will be no shortage of content to explore throughout Season 20 inFallout 76.
What’s On Fallout 76’s Season 20 Community Calendar?
Scrip Surplus
The daily Legendary Scrip limit available at the legendary exchange machines will be doubled from 500 to 1,000. These legendary exchange machines can be found at every train station, and at most of the faction hubs throughoutFallout 76.
Double Mutations
The Daily Ops activity will feature four Mutation difficulty modifiers instead of the normal two, and select rewards from the activity will also be doubled. Daily Ops are generally recommended formax-level players inFallout 76, especially during Double Mutation Events, though bringing along fellow teammates can make it much more manageable regardless of players’ level.
Players can find teammates for Daily Ops and other activities by starting or joining Public Teams from the game map.
Caps-A-Plenty
The daily Caps limit at NPC vendors will be doubled from 1,400 to 2,800. This is a great time to quickly stock up on Caps by selling items that are easy to obtain or cheap to craft, though the most reliable sources of Caps currency are trading with other players via theCAMP vending machines inFallout 76, or completing repeatable endgame activities like Expeditions and the Gleaming Depths Raid.
Murmrgh’s Special Pick
The NPC vendor located at the Rusty Pick inFallout 76’s Ash Heap region will sell a discounted mystery box, containing a random three-star legendary weapon, armor, or power armor piece. Buying Murmrgh’s Special Pick and scrapping the legendary item is generally considered one of the most cost-efficient ways tolearn plans to craft legendary mods inFallout 76, though players may not want to scrap any gear that already has a combination of desirable legendary mods.
Ghoul Photo Mode Contest
Events like these are typically held on Bethesda’s official Discord Server. Lucky winners of these contests typically earn Atoms premium currency to spend inFallout 76’s in-game Atomic Shop.
Treasure Hunter
Special mole miner variants will spawn throughoutevery region inFallout 76in outdoor locations where other enemies spawn, even if mole miners don’t typically spawn there. These special mole miners will always drop a loot pail with event-exclusive rewards, like rare apparel and crafting plans. Craftable versions of the Treasure Hunter pails can also be purchased from most NPC vendors.
Mothman Equinox
ThisSeasonal Public Event inFallout 76takes place at the Mothman Museum located in the Forest region. At the beginning of every hour, players will need to prepare for the Holy Mothman ritual and defend three ritual pyres from cultists and deathclaws.
Upon completing the Mothman Equinox event, interacting with the Mothman on the rooftop of the central building provides a temporary +15% XP buff.
Gold Rush
The daily Gold Bullion exchange limit will be doubled from 40 to 80. The Treasury Notes used to purchase Gold Bullion can be earned from most Public Events inFallout 76.
After stocking up during the Gold Rush Event, players may want to consider holding onto their Gold Bullion to purchase items at a discounted rate fromMinerva, the traveling Gold Bullion Vendorwho appears periodically.
Legendary Sale
The NPC vendor located at the Rusty Pick inFallout 76’s Ash Heap region will offer a 25% discount on all of their inventory, excluding Vault Steel Scrap and Legendary Modules. Aside from the Murmrgh’s Special Pick Event, this is another great opportunity to buy and scrap legendary gear in bulk to potentially learn the crafting plans for legendary mods.
Appalachian Outlaws Challenge Event
Details for this event are currently unclear, though Challenge Events inFallout 76typically task players with completing two week-long series of challenges for event-exclusive outfits andCAMP decorations inFallout 76, among other common rewards. Similar to past Challenge Events, players will likely need to wear a certain outfit or equip a particular weapon while collecting resources and killing enemies during this event.
The Big Bloom Event
This is a new Seasonal Public Event coming toFallout 76in 2025. At a new location in the Savage Divide region, players will be tasked with defending a garden from Overgrown and Mutated Honey Beasts at the beginning of every hour for the chance at some event-exclusive rewards.

Invaders From Beyond
TheFalloutfranchise’s iconic Zeta aliensinvade during this two-week Seasonal Public Event. At the beginning of every hour, players will be tasked with exterminating the alien invaders for event-exclusive rewards, including Alien-themed weaponry and CAMP decorations.
