On the day of the Animal Festival inFields of Mistria, exit your house and head to town to find it decorated with haystacks and adorable animal-themed decorations. There are several things you may do at the Animal Festival, with the main attraction being the Small and Large Animal Competition.
Enter the Small and Large Animal Competition (How to Win the Animal Contest in Fields of Mistria)
If you’vebred animals inFields of Mistria, you can enterone small and one large animalinto theAnimal Festival Contest. Chat with Josephine at the central, wooden podium near the front of the celebrations to learn more. To enter theSmall and Large Animal Competition, interact with the booths behind Josephine’s podium, where you can choose any small and large animal from your farm from the menu selection.
For the best chance ofwinning the Animal Competition, it’s best tochoose animals with the highest number of heartsor ones with arare coat color, as Josephine explains when speaking with her. Once you’ve entered your animals, talk to Josephine again to launch the competition, triggering a cutscene of the winners being announced.
You can win prizes in the competition if you score third, second, or first place in thesmall or large animalcategory, and you don’t need to bring your animals with you to enter. The competition is pretty tough, so you may have more chance of winning prizes if you enter the contest during your second year of the game after you’ve had longer to look after your animals and raise their affection.We won third place in the Small Animal Competition by choosing a chicken with an affection level of five hearts.
