Naturally, some fans are seeing this newFinal Fantasy 9website and line of collectibles as more evidence that Square Enix has a remake in the works. Earlier this year, insiders claimed that thissupposedFF9remakecould launch as early as 2026, and some say that it is just one of many classicFinal Fantasytitles being remade for modern hardware. When asked about this late last year,Final Fantasy 14’s Naoki Yoshida speculated that a hypotheticalFinal Fantasy 9remake could span multiple games, just like the ongoingFinal Fantasy 7 Remakeseries.
