This skin will be accompanied by a bobble head back bling modeled after Ohtani’s pet dog named Decoy. This outfit will also come with a special LEGO style, which can be used in any ofFortnite’s various LEGO game modes.
Shohei Ohtani Will Receive Two Fortnite Skins on March 17
The second skin features Ohtani in a samurai-style baseball outfit with visible armor and a black and gold color scheme. This will be one ofFortnite’s reactive skins, as Ohtani’s right arm will burst into flames after getting an elimination. The skin will be paired with the Samurai Screamer back bling, which appears to be a flaming baseball wearing a helmet. Epic Games will also be releasing a special set of Shohei Ohtani quests that will launch on March 18 and run through the end of Chapter 6 Season 2. These quests will reward players with XP, but there don’t appear to be any cosmetic rewards associated with the challenges.
Some players were surprised by the announcement, as many people expected T-Pain to be the next person to receive an Icon Series skin.
