Classic-Spiral stated that the pass should be half the price, as it includes half as many cosmetics as the base battle pass.
Fortnite Fans Think the OG Pass Is Overpriced
Some people suggested that the pricing of the OG Pass could be part Epic Games' push to have players engage with its Crew subscription, which includes every pass, 1,000 V-Bucks, and anexclusiveFortniteskin every month. While many fans feel that the $11.99 price tag of the Crew subscription is worth it, others don’t like the idea that they’re being pushed into paying monthly for the popular battle royale. Epic Games recently announced that it would beshutting down the servers forFortnite’s OG Ranked Zero Buildmode due to “matchmaking health,” which means not enough players were engaging with it.
