A user by the name of xtr3m3z has taken to Instagram to show how it was possible to link their PS5 up to the 1970s black and white TV to playBethesda’sFallout 4. As the space helmet-shaped CRT TV doesn’t have an HDMI port, several cables and converters had to be used to achieve this. Firstly, the HDMI cable from the PS5 is plugged into an AV converter before the RWY cables are attached to an AV-to-RF converter. This allows a final RF cable to be plugged into the JVC Videosphere. For those unaware of how pre-HD TVs work, the enthusiast had to tune the TV to the right frequency so the TV could pick up the PS5’s signal before they could begin playing.
