A new enemy inGenshin Impactversion 5.5 can be found in Atocpan and Ancient Sacred Mountain called Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel. This animal is an elite enemy, comes in limited numbers, anddrops materials for certain weapons. Currently, there are only 10 Furnace Shell Mountain Weasels that can be found per day: 4 in Atocpan and 6 in the Ancient Sacred Mountain.

Stealthy Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel Location in Genshin Impact
The achievement is calledTwo Weasels in a Trenchcoat… or Was It Three?, where you need to defeat the two Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel brothers. Keep in mind that these weasels are not the normal weasel in the open world. Instead, the achievement wants specific weasel siblings in the Ancient Sacred Mountain. Teleport toPseudostart Pedestal south waypointand head to the southwest towards the small arena surrounded by Phlogiston Liquid to find a Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel.
To unlock the Ancient Sacred Mountain map and the Dragons' Residence sub-area inside it, you need to start theFrozen, Rekindling Land Quest, which will lead you to find and fix the mechanisms required to start an elevator that will bring you to the ancient city underneath.
There is only one weasel in the arena called Wily Wolverine’s Big Bro. Once you defeat it, another one will spawn, named Wily Wolverine’s Little Bro. The fight itself is not that hard as their movement set is the same as others in the open-world and their health is also average.
Their signature skill is when they burrow underground and activate its “Secret Source Core” to attack surrounding enemies periodically. At this time, you should focus on damaging the core to force it to emerge from underground. The most effective move for attacking the weasel (since it’s hiding underground) is byusing a Plunging Attack.
Furnace Shell Mountain Weaselhas a high Pyro Resistant, so it’s best if you do not use any Pyro DPS against this enemy unless you are confident with their damage output.
After defeating both Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel inGenshin Impact, two treasure chests and an achievement will appear for you to claim. Two Weasels in a Trenchcoat… or Was It Three? achievement will provide you with 5 Primogems, and you can claim them from the Wonders of the World Achievement page.
If you have Varesa or Iansan (playable character from “Collective of Plenty”), you’re able to also try to get the second achievement related to the weasel calledEmergency Brakes, Teteocan Style. To get this one, you need to use a Tatankasaurus or a Collective of Plenty character’s sprint to interrupt the Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel’s charge. The charging here means when the weasel performs a roll in your character’s direction. It will only use this skill if the player is far away.
