Haikyu!! Short Anime Announced

Many fans of Haikyu!! had lost hope for the series getting a new anime season, especially after the first movie was announced. It was suggested that the movies would be used to instead cover the events of the story. However, with the latest anniversary of the series, this has all changed, and the Haikyu!! series has good things coming.
First off, fans were most excited about the announcement for the next movie. But, more importantly, what’s even more exciting is the fact that this movie isn’t the end of the story anymore, which means the series will not be crammed into this one feature-length film.
Many fans did expect the eventual announcement for the next movie, but what they were surprised by was thereveal of a short anime for Haikyu!!This short anime will not focus on Karasuno, instead, it will showcase the match between Fukurodani, a beloved team, and Mujinazaka in the Nationals.

Not Much Is Known For Now
When fans hear of special short anime, it’s hard to figure out what exactly it means, and frankly, it hasn’t really been elaborated upon for fans, but one can make some guesses.

A special short anime could simply be a few OVAs, perhaps two or three to cover this match. It’s unlikely it will be more than that. So while this will not be much content, it will still be equal to a short movie, which definitely isn’t bad,as the other Karasuno matchesin movie format are covered in the same amount of time.
There is no release date as of now, and fans will have to wait and see what comes up in the next few months concerning this special short anime.
