The film follows a group of teenage friends who discover they can communicate with spirits using a mysterious, severed, and embalmed hand. The main character, Mia (Sophia Wilde), is struggling with the loss of her mother. However, there are some rules to be followed here, which inevitably get broken over the course of the story.
