It all starts with the helmet design, which has three separate, swappable faceplates to give Miles Morales different emotions and “eye” shapes. You might not be able to clearly see the designs on the different helmets, but there’s a good reason why. And for those that are curious, replacing the faceplates is simple and easy, with an added plastic cover to ensure a secure fit.
The helmet is easily the focal point of the Spider-Man Miles Morales collectible, because of its light-up elements. Along with the emblem in his chest, Miles Morales' helmet can light up via a supplied USB power cable into the back of the figure. Considering a lot of the figure is in Miles Morales’ signature black suit aesthetic, the added pops of red and the lights bring a greater personality to theHot Toys collectible. Detail abounds all over the Spider-Man Miles Morales (2020 Suit) collectible - from the fabric, emblem work, and texturing on his faux leather jacket to the etchings on his suit. The use of translucent red on the fingertips is especially cool, allowing backlighting to give the character splashes of color. And because this is Miles Morales, the character wouldn’t be complete without bringing that playfulness out, which is done on this collectible via an attached music player that magnetically sticks to his hip and runs headphone wires up to the helmet.
