“House of Cards” is a Basic Mission inXenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Editionthat requires you to find a keycard for a man named Yardley. While it may seem like any other basic sidequest, completing “House of Cards” is needed if you want to change the look of your character. When you first arrive inXenoblade Chronicles X’s New Los Angeles, this feature won’t be readily available to you. There are two prerequisites to unlocking the avatar customization feature. Here’s what you need to do in order to complete the “House of Cards” mission.

Where is Yardley’s Keycard? (Keycard Location)
“House of Cards” can be accepted from the task board in NLA. You need to complete the following before the quest appears:
For “House of Cards,” you’ll need to search theAdministrative Districtfor Yardley’s keycard. If you use theFollow Ball/Navigation that you get from Tatsu, it will lead you to theRestricted Hangar below the Administrative District.
Yardley’s keycard is behind two red cargo containers stacked with white containers on the raised western section of the Restricted Hangar. If you look at the map, the location of the keycard will bebetweenArmor AlleyandRegina’s store(where you can start the “Booming Business” mission).

The map only shows thetop floor of NLA. When you’re inside theRestricted Hangar, you’ll want to go to the spot with the blue arrow on the above image. If you search for it outside Armor Alley, you’re not going to find it.
How to Reach the Restricted Hangar
It’s likely you’ll have discovered the landmark/fast-travel point forthe Restricted Hangar Entrance, but if not, you may take theelevator south of Division Drive’s landmark. Refer to theblue diamond and red arrows on the above image.
Return Yardley’s Keycard
Once you have the keycard, go toBarista Courtin theCommercial District. Yardley can be identified on the map by the exclaimation point marker. Go thereduring the afternoonto turn in the keycard.
It doesn’t matter which choices you pick, butyou won’t get the promised 100000 credits. Instead, Yardley will ask you to meet himlate at night. If you look on your map, there will be a new objective marker in the Administrative District, specificallybelowthe Administrative District.
Yardley’s Hideaway Location
To reach Yardley’s Hideaway, you shouldraise the elevator in the Restricted Hangar. Then,jump beneath the elevatorwhen it’s out of the way. You’ll land in the ‘water’ below NLA. If you’re using the Follow Ball, you can swim towards the blue objective marker. Yardley’s Hideaway is blocked off by some storage containers you’ll need to jump over.
How to Change Your Appearance

While you don’t get 100000 credits, Yardley reveals a machine that can change the look of your character’s Mimeosome. Simply approach the capsule and press the A-button.
You canonly use the machine during Late Night hours, meaning from0:00–5:00.you may manually change the timeby pausing the game and going down toSystem, thenChange Time. Also, your character can’t be equipped with ‘gender specific’ gear, such as Grenada Swimwear (Female).
you’re able to’t change the name of your character, but you can changeeverything else, includingvoice. If you want to change your character’s gender, then choose thefirst optionwhen prompted.
