How To Avoid
Leaping Slash
Elamein leaps at you and performs a spinning slash—she can do this twice, soyou need to be ready to dodge or Brink Guard it.
Sheild Bash
The boss performs a double shield bash.Dodge both attacks to the sideto avoid taking damage.
Shield Charge
Elamein raises her shield and charges at the player—she can do this twice, depending on the charge on her shield. Dodge this attack to the side to avoid increasing your electrocution meter.
Electric Thrust
The boss electrifies her sword using the shield and thrusts at the player, releasing an electric beam.She can follow up with another thrust, depending on her charge.Dodge to the sidebefore she thrusts to avoid getting hit.
Shield Throw
Elamein throws her shield at you andcan follow up with a running slash and a leaping slam. Another variation of this attackincludes an Electric Slam, which is a burst attack. Dodge all of these attacks, butmake sure to counter the burst attackto stagger the boss and get free hits.
Electric Slash and Slam
The boss powers up her sword and performs a wide slash, followed by a leap into a slam that travels forward in a straight line.You need to Brink Dodge both of these attacks, as getting hit deals massive damage and significantly increases your electrocution meter.
Electric Shield Slam
Elamein slams the ground with her powered shield, causing a small explosion that can be easily dodged.
Electric Projectiles
The boss electrifies her sword and fires multiple arc projectiles at you.Run around during the attack animation and dodge any projectilesthat get too close.
9-Hit Electric Slash
Elamein powers up her sword before unleashing a series of slashes, causing electrocution if not guarded perfectly.Brink Guard all the attacks, especially the ninth hit, to stagger herfor a few seconds.
How To Beat Elamein In The First Berserker: Khazan
Elamein is the main story boss forthe eighth missionand can be very annoying to deal with. Throughout the fight,the most important aspect is to avoid hitting her shieldas much as you may. This is becausethe more you hit her shield, the more it charges up, allowing her to empower her sword attacks and even perform powerful slams.Powering up her shield also allows her to extend her normal attackswith different follow-ups.
A good way of damaging her would be toBrink Dodge her attacks to the side and immediately attack hera couple of times. Most of the time, she will readjust herself to point her shield toward you, so be very cautious.
Another important thing to keep in mind is toavoid attacking needlessly or dodging multiple times, as this reduces your stamina to a bare minimum. This is mainly becauseif you enter the exhausted state, Elamein can run toward you and perform a Brutal Attackthat does a lot of damage. attempt to dodge all the lightning projectiles she throws at you, otherwise, the attacks will cause a lot ofElectrocutionbuild-up.
