One of the first things you’ll do inInZOIis buy a home for your Zoi to settle into and start their new city life, but living in a house isn’t just about having a roof over their head; you’ll also need to take care of their hygiene and keep the place clean. A messy home can stress your Zoi out (especially sincethey’ll feel the need to do laundryall the time) and even cause problems if they live with family.
Your home inInZOIdoesn’t stay spotless for long. Even if your Zoi barely spends time inside, dust and spills will start piling up on the floor and furniture. And if your Zoi is too busy with work or other activities, the mess will only get worse and could even impact their family life. Fortunately, there are some easy ways to keep things tidy. Here’show to clean your house inInZOI.
How to Clean Your House in InZOI
InInZOI, there are three main ways to clean your house if you notice dirt buildup, get a warning from the Psycat, or see the cleanliness meter (found in the house information tab) dropping. Here’s how each method works:
Order Your Zoi to Clean
The simplest way to clean your house inInZOIis by telling your Zoi to do it. Just interact with them and click the Clean icon to clearmultiple roomsor tap on a dirty spot and select Clean Here to cleara single area. Also, your Zoi will need cleaning supplies to get the job done. To buy cleaning supplies inInZOI, hop into Build Mode (click on the house and hammer icon in the bottom right), go to Furniture, and check out the Vacuum Cleaner options under the Bathroom section. Here are all the available cleaning tool options in the game:

If the room is large, your Zoi will clean it a few times, which means other rooms might still be dirty. As such, you’ll need to ask them again to finish the assignment.
Hire a Cleaning Service
Another great and rather convenient option is hiring a home cleaning service. This is pretty useful since a maid or servant will handle the work without your Zois needing to do anything. Your Zoi can even head out for work while the cleaning happens at home.
To hire a cleaner inInZOI, open thePocket Market Appon your smartphone(press the P key) and purchase the service underHome Cleaning Services(found in the cleaning options).

In the game’s early access, you’ll need to manually let the cleaner into your Zoi’s house via a pop-up. If you’re not home, you won’t be able to employ someone, as the service will appear sold out.
Take Help from Other Zois
Last but not least,you can have other Zois help clean the house. To do this, switch characters and play as them while the previous one is still sweeping. This only works for family members; neighbors or other NPCs in your house won’t pitch in. You can quickly swap between Zois by pressing the Space key.
