Where To Start Damsel In Distress In KCD2

Travel to Bylany, the place where several interestingquests including Dragon’s Laircan be picked from the residents. Now, take the northwestern road and keep going straight towards Old Lotha, following the road next to the river. There’s a building with a drying rack there, and upon approaching it, players will hear a woman asking for help.

Approach the house from the northern side, and pass the barn to detect where the sounds come from: a shed on the side of the main building. The woman trapped inside crying for help says to be the Miller’s wife and asks Henry to find the shed keys to free her before her husband comes back with an axe, to execute her.

How To Free The Woman In Damsel In Distress

To release the woman in Damsel In Distress, players can either pick the lock or grab the keys from the table inside the house next to the shed. It doesn’t matter what players choose, next, the woman will ask them to find the Miller before he comes back with the axe.

So, go around the main building to search for the Miller. But the problem is no Miller is there, and as players might have suspected by now, there’s something fishy going on with the woman.

By going back to the shed to ask for explanations, the Miller and a Catchpole (an officerin charge of pursuing criminals) will be waiting there. Upon approaching them, Henry will try to explain that he thought the woman was in danger.

Turns out she was a thief and the Miller now wants Henry to take responsibility, demanding compensation for all the things the woman stole or being taken in her place. Players can pass several types of checks from Medium to Hard to avoid being prosecuted, but choosing to explain that he acted in good faith seems like the best possible approach.
