Finishers are some of the most exciting moves in wrestling, and there have been moments that have elevated those signature moments to even greater heights. InWWE 2K25, you too can relive some of the most shocking finishes in WWE history, or craft your own thrilling end to a rivalry.
Much like the instalments before them,2K25allows players to perform reversals in the form of finishers while defending aerial attacks. In order to do this, you will need to have an understanding ofhow to perform Catch Finishers inWWE 2K25,and who, by default, is capable of pulling it off.
How To Perform a Catch Finisher in WWE 2K25
Unlike the previous instalment in the series, players can now perform Catch Finishers from two positions;either when an opponent is attacking from the top rope or when they are running towards you after being Irish Whipped into the ropes. The general premise is the same, but there are slight differences between the two.
To perform a rope rebound, players will need to Irish Whip their opponent into the ropes, then press the L1/LB to lift them above their heads for the catch. While the opponent is airborne, press the Finisher button (X + R2 or A + RT) to complete the move.
The alternative way, which requires the opponent to launch an attack from the top rope, isa much rarer way of finishing the match, as it requires perfect timing and input from the opponent. To perform it, press the Finisher button as the opponent is about to jump from the top rope. This needs to be done before they jump, as your wrestler will need to position themselves and prepare for the catch.
You will need to have a Finisher stored to perform this move.
Who Can Do Catch Finishers in WWE 2K25?
