Unlike a lot of drops from monsters, Torrent Sacs aren’t obtained by destroying a specific body part andinstead are a potential reward for killing the monster and completing the associated quest. You can also choose touse a Lucky Voucherwhen fighting one of these monsters and accepting the quest to almost guarantee a Torrent Sac to drop, if not multiple for only one kill.

If you’re better at fighting one monster over the other, choose the one you’re best with. Otherwise, themuch easier monster to fight between the two is the Balahara, and it also has a slightly higher chance of dropping a Torrent Sac. Balaharas areweak to Thunger damageand of course, specialize in water damage, so bring some resistance to counter it.
Uth Dunas aren’t necessarily that hard to fight, but being the Apex predator of a region, they have more tricks up their sleeves and, alongwith their armor, can lead to a more drawn-out fight than just a Balahara. Balaharas are also fairly common to find in the plains, making them also easier to find outside of doing an optional quest to begin a hunt for either monster.
