Like most weapons, the Plasma Burst Laser can be found as floor loot or inside chest containers. However, these aren’t guaranteed drops, but there are ways to ensure gamers find a Plasma Burst Laser or increase their chances of looting one.
ThePlasma Burst Laser tends to frequently drop from Go Bags, which are a sort of special chest for this season that look like duffle bags. These are found all over but can typically be found outside of banks, which are located at Crime City, Seaport City, Masked Meadows, and Lonewolf Lair.

An additional way to pick up a Plasma Burst Laser is to findvending machines that display either a pink screen with a cartoonish skull icon or an orange screen with an explosive plunger icon.These will usually have Thermite and lasers available to purchase for 600 gold as well.
How to Use the Plasma Burst Laser in Fortnite
The Plasma Burst Laser fires a focused laser beam that, when striking an enemy, will let off explosive bursts every few seconds.The laser beam itself will deal 13 damage incrementally while hitting its target, and the bursts will deal an additional 18 damage.To the right of the aiming reticle will be a meter that will fill up as a player continues to fire the laser. Once it’s full, the Plasma Burst Laser will cease firing until the meter cools down. While this weapon doesn’t take ammo, it does have a durability meter similar to other weapons from this season like theKneecapperorSub-Zero’s Kombat Kit.When that meter is depleted, the weapon will break and be removed from the inventory.
Using the Plasma Burst Laser can be effective against enemies who are grouped up, as the resulting explosive bursts will deal splash damage that will hit multiple targets.It’s also highly effective against vehiclesas it damages both the car and the people inside. This makes it a valuable weapon to have on hand when dealing with baddies in a vehicle attempting to perform a hit and run or make a getaway.
Perhaps the most underrated use for the Plasma Burst Laser isas a tool during bank vault heists. During these heists, the bars of the vault door will one by one glow orange as they’re burnt away by Thermite. This process can take a while, but it can be sped up by blasting the bars with the laser to make the bar at the top of the screen move along quicker to help get all the loot inside that vault.
