The map ofAssassin’s Creed Shadowsis full of secrets, collectibles, and interesting locations to discover. The game encourages players toexplore every region thoroughlyby hiding some amazing loot in decent spots, rewarding those who enjoy wandering around the map and raiding the heavily-guarded temples.
However, not all treasures are at the heart of a temple. Sometimes, a treasure could be hidden in plain sight, somewhere that no one would have expected. And this is whatthe “Made You Look” trophy/achievementis all about. It’s going to test the players' skills at how well they can investigate every area the game has to offer. For those wonderinghow to get the treasure behind the waterfall in the Hideout, the means of doing so have been outlined below.
Where Is The Treasure Behind The Waterfall In The AC Shadows Hideout?
The description for the “Made You Look” trophy/achievement says that there is a treasure behind a waterfall in the Hideout. However, the word “treasure” is probably not the most suitable one to use to describe what waits behind the waterfall.
Fast travel to the hideout and head to the location marked on the map above, where players can find asmall hole behind the waterfallon the right. Pass through the water, head inside the cave, and you will finda hidden shrine.Naoe can pray inside this shrine, and that’s pretty much all there is to this treasure. Entering this cave will also unlock the “Made You Look” trophy/achievement.
There is no legendary item or anything to loot here, but praying inside the shrine will grant Naoe a weapon buff for a limited time. So, at the very least, it’s a pretty safe spot to collect a buff from before venturing into big fights.
The good news is that “Made You Look” is already one of those rare achievements that you can unlock earlier in the game. It’s also an easy one to overlook, as not many players seem to like exploring the Hideout deeply, preferring to mostly spend their time customizing the location, adding new buildings, and upgrading existing ones.
Keep in mind that the Hideout is not available right after starting the game. The player must complete a few linear missions at the beginning in order to get the story rolling. Once done, they will find themselves spawned in the Hideout as Naoe, which is the same location where Tomiko resides, a character who will also have some main and side quests for the players later in the campaign.
Discovering shrines grants players XP Points inAssassin’s Creed Shadows. Now, if the player manages to pray in all the praying spots of a shrine, they will alsogain a Knowledge pointas well as a buff. As such, it is well worth it for players to take a moment at each discovered shrine and collect Knowledge points.
