However, you’ll require different materials to build these structures, and wood is a major component. Players won’t have much trouble finding food if they’re investing time doing side activities. However, if you’re aiming to max out your Hideout level by building and upgrading all structures, you’ll need to know some reliable ways to get wood inAssassin’s Creed Shadows.
Get Wood from Castles & Enemy Camps in Assassin’s Creed
One of the common places to find wood inAssassin’s Creed Shadowsis inside castles and enemy outposts (camps). After heading inside, players will encounter several enemies that they’ll need to either defeat or sneak past.
Now, you’ll need touse Naoe’s Eagle Vision abilitytoscan the area and look for golden dotson the screen. After reaching the location with the dots, you’ll find several helpful supplies, including wood.
In castles specifically, players will also have the option to search for the key and loot enemy quarters that havesupply pallets that can be smuggled using scouts. Once the season changes, the scouts will return and their accumulated loot will be added to the inventory.
Complete Contracts that Offer Wood as a Reward
There’s another method tofarm a large amount of woodinAssassin’s Creed Shadows, and it’s by completing Contracts. After unlocking new hideouts (Kakurega) in multiple regions, players will have access to new contracts. These range from assassination missions to clearing out an enemy camp.
Accept the Contracts that offer wood as a reward, and complete them to get it. Once you’re done with all the contractions in one region, fast travel to another region’s hideout and complete the Contracts over there.
Purchase Wood from the Port Trader
If you’re in immediate need of some wood and don’t want to infiltrate enemy camps or complete Contracts, there’s an option to simplypurchase it from a Port Trader. There are several Port Traders located near the shore of a river or lake in bigger villages that offer a variety of items, including materials.
Players can select the amount of wood they need and complete the purchase. Although the price per wood is cheap, this option is only great for players who either have a lot of Mon in their pockets or simply need a small quantity of wood inAC Shadows.
