FragPunkis afast-paced FPS experiencethat takes the best features from its predecessors, such asValorant. Despite this, some of the usual moves for the genre are missing here or are available only under certain conditions. In this guide, we showcase how to slide inFragPunk.
Sliding inFragPunkis not a usual move since, by default, characters cannot use it. However, there are several ways in which players can slide to increase mobility during battle.
How to Slide in FragPunk
First of all, it’s worth noting that Sliding inFragPunkis not the same as Running or Crouching. While the latter two moves are available at any time and are activated by pressing the corresponding keys, to combine them, you’ll have to prepare. More specifically, you must either select Axon Lancer or use the Frozen Wasteland Shard Card to slide.
How to Slide as Axon
While all heroes cannot slide inFragPunk, Axon is an exception. His Electric Guitar allows him toslide while the skill is active. However, he is not one of the available starting Lancers. Therefore, you’ll have to unlock him like the other heroes for 18,888 Gold or 488 FragPunk Coins.
Start a round as Axon, and you’ll need to activate Electric Guitar, which becomes your shotgun-like weapon. While this ability is active, you can slide by pressing CTRL while sprinting. Note that kills extend the use of the Electric Guitar skill.
How to Slide with Any Lancer
In addition to playing as Axon, there is another way to use the slide move inFragPunk, namely the Frozen Wasteland Shard Card. As its description says, it creates a snowy landscape, the feature of which is the ability to slide.
So you just need to select thisShard Cardand then use it during combat to slide regardless ofwhich Lancer you have chosen. But remember that, in that case, other players will be able to perform this trick inFragPunktoo.
As for the key combination, you need to press the crouch button while sprinting, just like in the case of Axon. By default, these are the CTRL and Shift buttons, respectively.
Overall, the slide is a useful move inFragPunk, as it can save you from a deadly shot. However, we do not recommend using it too often, neglecting the heroes’ other abilities.
