How To Start Moon Market Side Story
After defeating theFactory Warden, continue through the level until youreach a rotating platformwith individual laser fields on the right and a sealed gate ahead.Ignore the lasers for now, as they lead to the main path, and instead, head straight to spottwo switches that need to be shot.
Once the doors open, Zoe will mention a possible Side Story, confirming you’re in the right place. Use the rising platforms to reach two more switches, activate them, and proceed to interact with the Side Story. This marks the second Side Story in Level 4 and presents a stunning castle in the distance.
Approach the boat and interact with it to arrive at the castle gates, where a cat will open the entrance upon interaction. Inside the Moon Market, your objective, shown in the cutscene, is tolocate three cats that scatter in different directions. The market is filled with interactive elements, allowing you to ride snails, launch firecrackers, or use a wand to turnyour co-op partnerinto a frog.
At the Potion Booth, six recipes are listed on a board beside the Cauldron. Each unique combination results in bizarre transformations, such as turning into a ball of yarn or summoning a thundercloud.Mixing all the potions unlocks the Potion Chef trophy/achievement.
Finding The Cats
Once finished, take the left path from the entrance of Moon Marketand jump across the wooden ramps. At the end,interact with the doorto trigger a cutscene where the pink cat flies away. Catch a ride with the witches flying on brooms to reach the house with bird-like legs. Here, you’ll need to climb to the top to find a chest.One player must open the chest while the other grabs the cat. Use the flying books to return to the Moon Market with the pink cat in hand.
Place the cat at the gate, then take the opposite path to the right. Both players must grab a lantern, revealing a glowing path of coffins. An optional route leads to abonfire referencingDark Souls, but continuing forward brings you to a giant cat.One player must play the Harmony instrumentwhile the other navigates moving platforms toretrieve the cat. Return to the main gate and take the path past the Potion Shop.
You’ll enter a garden with an image on the door illustrating thecorrect order for growing flowers. If done correctly, the area glows. Beyond the door,a giant mushroom must be lifted by one player while the other grabs the green cat. To return, you’ll traverse a path filled with floating water bubbles. Finally, place the last cat at the gate to trigger a cutscene and complete the Side Story.
