Players will take control of their favorite wrestlers fromWWE 2K25’sstacked roster, as well as being able to craft their own charismatic talent to take over the industry across the game’s many modes. For those assembling their own stable in MyFACTION mode, or are attempting to score a contract with WWE on The Island, there are additional game mechanics available to give you an advantage.
Among these extra features are player Badges, which can be used to strengthen your wrestler’s strengths or lessen their weaknesses. To apply these effectively, players will need a knowledge ofwhat Badges are inWWE 2K25and how they are used.
What Are Badges in WWE 2K25?
Badges inWWE 2K25areadditional boosts that can be assigned to a Superstar to give them an advantage. In MyFACTION mode, these are included in each card to earn orpurchase with MFP or VC, offering advantages in areas relevant to their skill set.In The Island mode, however, these are unlockable rewards that can be applied to your created wrestler, then upgrade them as you progress with your superstar.
Some Badge advantages will be activated by fulfilling requirements during the match, while others will be passive boons that give players a leg-up going into and during the contest. In MyFACTION mode, Badges included on a card will be a reflection of the wrestler him or herself, meaning you can expect a High Flyer to get a boost in aerial offense, whereas a Powerhouse might get one that increases damage.
All Badges in WWE 2K25 (& How To Unlock Them)
There are a total of 45 Badges inWWE 2K25, but 11 of these are only for use in MyFACTION mode. Below is a list of what these Badges entail, along with how to unlock them (where applicable)
How To Unlock (The Island)
Adrenaline
Increases Recovery, reducing the time from being to the mat or stunned.
Win 15 matches and perform 150 rebound attacks
All The Answers
Your reversals, combo breakers, and grab breakers build the stun meter on your attacker.
Win 15 matches and perform 200 reversals.
Win 25 matches by submission and perform 250 submissions.
Bee Repellent
Reduces the damage caused by light and heavy attacks by 5%.
Win 15 matches and land 100 diving attacks against downed opponents.
Better Together
One per match: Enter Tank Mode when tagged in or out.
N/A in The Island
Born To Fly
One per match: Enter Beast Mode when you climb up high.
Winn 15 Ladder matches and perform 100 Springboard attacks.
Clock Watcher
Gain Beast Mode when subject to a DQ or Ring Out count.
Win 15 matches and perform 75 apron grapples.
Crosshairs
Dizzy is increased when Superstar taunts a grounded opponent from the top rope.
Win 15 matches and perform50 dragging attacks.
Win 15 matches and perform 250 Crowd Taunts
Curls
Decreases the damage done to a Superstar’s arms.
Win 15 matches and perform 100 submissions (Indie Wrestler Background only)
Demolition Man
Enter Beast Mode when attacking with weapons or props.
Win 15 matches and land 50 attacks with the steel steps.
Determination
Enter Tank Mode after taking heavy damage.
Win 15 matches without using a Finisher and kick out of 100 pin attempts.
Dirty Trickster
Attacking damaged to red limbs builds more stun.
Win 15 matches and cause yellowdamage to an opponent’s body100 times.
Dive Bomber
Increases aerial attack damage.
Win 15 matches and land 250 diving attacks on standing opponents.
Double Trouble
One per match: When a partner succeeds at a Finisher, you gain a Finisher.
Adds damage to diving and springboard attacks to dizzy opponents.
Win 15 matches and land 150 running attacks.
Endurance
Escaping from a pin will recover a very small amount of damage.
Win 15 matches by pinfall and kick out of 150 Nearfall pins.
Energetic Opportunist
Enter Beast Mode when you stun an opponent.
Win 15 matches and land 200 light attacks (Lifelong Fan Background only).
Win 15 matches and land 250 running attacks.
Heavy Handed
End a combo with a Heavy attack to stun your opponent more easily.
Win 15 matches and land 250 heavy attacks.
Hot Tag
One per match: Gain Special when tagged in if you don’t already have one bar.
One per match: Gain Recovery when tagged in or out.
Leg Day
Decrease the damage done to a Superstar’s legs.
Win 15 matches and perform 25 Carry attacks (Athlete Background only).
Lifesaver
One per match: Gain a Finisher if you have none when tagged in by a heavily damaged partner.
Win 15 matches and perform 100 Finishers.
Locomotion
Decreases the stamina drain from throwing strikes and running (Mogul Background only)
Win 15 matches and land 100 running attacks (Mogul Background only).
Merciless Opportunist
Increases damage dealt to stunned opponents.
Win 15 matches and win 100 matches with yellow head damage.
Win 15 matches and land 150 heavy attacks
Win 15 matches and kick out of 25 pin attempts.
Quick Winner
Win the match in five minutes or less for bonus MFP.
Rabblerouser
One per match: Your fourth successful taunt grants you a Finisher.
Win 15 matches and use the Comeback Payback 25 times.
Win 15 matches and perform 200 crowd taunts.
Six Pack
Decreases damage and dizzy from attacks to a Superstar’s torso.
Win 15 matches and win 100 matches with yellow body damage.
Win 15 matches and kick out of 75 Nearfall pins.
One per match: Enter beast Modewhen tagging in or out.
Increases light and heavy attack damage.
Win 15 matches and land 250 light attacks
Unscathed
Win the match while having more than half vitality for bonus MFP.
Unstoppable
Enter Tank Mode after escaping a pin.
Win 15 matches with low damage and land 25 chair attacks.
Win 15 matchesand land 100 chair attacks.
Wet Blanket
Stunning an opponent with an attack reduces their Special and Finisher stock.
Win 15 matches and perform 250 strikes.
How To Unlock & Upgrade Badges in WWE 2K25’s The Island
While players won’t be able to touch their player badges in MyFACTION mode, since they are tied to the wrestler and the rarity of the card, they have all the power to dictate which badges their created Superstar will equip in The Island mode. Not only can you unlock and assign them, but you can also work towards upgrading them for greater advantages.
To unlock and upgrade badges inWWE 2K25’s The Island, players will need toearn and spend Badge Points. These are an exclusive currency to The Island, and can be earned byleveling up your wrestlervia the Training Shop. You can level your athlete up by purchasing upgrades using VC. Your Superstar’s overall OVR will dictate when you next earn a Badge Point, but you can check when that will be from the Training Shop as well.
