InThe First Berserker: Khazan, you’ll start to encounter somered crystalsthat can be destroyed by attacking them. A message will appear on-screen, telling you that you’ve destroyed amysterious energy-emitting ore. However, you won’t know what you can do with these stones until afew hours into the story.

What are the Energy-Emitting Ores in First Beserker Khazan?
Break Them All
These mysterious energy-emitting ores scattered amongst the different missions and dungeons can be broken and used later in the game. These items are calledSoulstones.
How to Use Soulstones in First Berserker: Khazan
Daphrona
You won’t be able to use Soulstones until you make it to the game’s hub area (The Crevice) and take on the Bonus Mission to enterEmbars Ruins' Forgotten Temple.
As part of the quest, you’ll find the NPCDaphronawaiting near one of the upgrade/rest points. Speak to her and choose the option to ‘Unleash Soulstones."
You can use your collected Soulstones to get certain improvements to your character, such as a Health Recovery Increase, Max Spirit, and Lacrima Gain.
Make sure to break any Soulstones that you see. You can unlock theSoulstone UnleashedandAgent of the Netherworldtrophies/achievements for doing so. The first trophy is for upgrading once with Daphrona, and the latter is for collecting every single one.
It’s worth noting that Daphrona will make it to The Crevice, so you can speak to her whenever you return. You won’t need to head back to the Forgotten Temple to spend your stones.
