He also commented that he would love to work on it, but added that his involvement is not the most important thing about it.

Honestly, this is probably the perfect time not only for aDBZremake, but for a complete remake of the series, from Chapter 1 to Chapter 519— that is,Dragon BallandDragon Ball Zremade into a single anime. Story-wise, it would even make more sense to do it this way. But it would be a long series, even without the fillers, so maybedividing it into seasonsinstead of airing it all at once would be a better approach. Also, at this point,a remake would probably also retcon a few events in the series.
Dragon Ball Daimaproved not only that the series is still strong, but also that there are a lot of fans who still enjoy the adventurous vibes of the classicDragon Ballanime.
