Black Butler’s Emerald Witch arc willstart airing on July 28, 2025, just over a week before the manga’s return. The anime also shared a new trailer featuring multiple characters who will have key roles to play in the upcoming season.
Most of Black Butler’s original voice cast will return for the Emerald Witch arc. This means fans can expect to hear familiar voices in the anime.
The Emerald Witch arc will be directedby Kenjiro Okada at CloverWorks. Hiroyuji Yoshino is in charge of series composition, and Yumi Shimizu is handling the character designs.
The Emerald Witch arc is the eighth story arcin the series. In the arc, Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis are sent to investigate mysterious deaths occurring in a village. The premise is certainly interesting, and fans expect to see many secrets being unraveled by the duo.

Black Butler’s anime adaptation was announced in July 2008, and the first season premiered in October of the same year. A second season was teased in 2009, and it aired in 2010.
